FAMILY SESSIONS - The M Family

Shannon was Levi's pre-k teacher for awhile this past fall.  Not only is she a wonderful caring teacher, she also does some awesome crochet work!  I purchased some hats and diaper covers from her and she decided to schedule a family session. 

Shannon has a lovely family.  Little Avrie and Claire are so cute.  Avrie was sportin' her cowgirl boots and was so excited to have them in the pictures.  Every time I asked Claire to smile for me, she would tilt her head and grin.  She really had that head tilt down by the end of the session :-).  We also got some great images of dad in there, even though I don't think he was exactly thrilled to be there - most dads aren't :-).   Still, I am very happy with the end results!

 

SENIOR REPS III

I am so impressed by all my senior reps for the class of 2013.  They all seem like such great kids!  Here is Ashley from Spencer High School and Mason from Loyal High School. 

 

NEWBORN SESSION-Baby Rosalind

Who doesn't love a newborn?  I was so excited to have little Rosalind in the studio last week.  I had visions of a sleeping baby propped up on a pillow, a sleeping naked baby curled into a ball, and if I was lucky, a sleeping baby with a slight smile on her face. . . . well, sweet little Rosalind decided NOT to sleep at all for the entire 2 hour session!  I guess she wanted to see what was going on!  She did not like being curled up into a ball for me to pose her and for only being 5 days old, she was really strong!  However, I did get some sweet shots of her parents holding her and we managed to get her to close her eyes long enough to snap at least one "sleeping shot".  Newborns=unpredictable!

These are the sweetest little girls!  So adorable!  They posed so well and were dressed so cute!  A photographer's dream!  I'll let the images speak for themselves!

 

SENIOR REPS II

I am having so much fun meeting these soon to be seniors!  I think they will help boost my business a lot!  These two reps are Tori (from Columbus Catholic) and Matt (from Marshfield High).  Tori is just a doll!  You can just see the warmth and bubbliness (is that a word?) in her eyes!  Matt plays guitar and I LOVE how the images look kind of dark and moody.  I look forward to working with all my reps for their own portraits this summer, and am so thankful they are helping my out!

This family was so much fun to work with.  I love the images we got from their session too!  I'm starting to notice that I have a thing for using ladders in my portraits - not sure if that's a bad or good thing. . .
