SENIOR SESSIONS-Justin

Justin is also from Spencer school.  He is the first client I ever had who asked to climb a tree for his session!  It was fun working with Justin!

SENIOR SESSIONS - Kari

Kari is a Spencer High student.  I like how her session was laid back and easy going!

SENIOR SESSIONS: Emma S

Emma attends Auburndale High School.  She and her mom were so great to work with!  Emma is so easy going and so photogenic, she made my job very easy!  When we went to the railroad tracks, we had the surprise of a train coming from the north.  In all my sessions there, I have never had a train go through!  Then, when we did the shots in the field, I had the pleasure of seeing a snake!  Ugh - I hate snakes.  So, this was quite an exciting session all around!

 

FAMILY SESSIONS: The J Family

Kristin and I have known each other for a couple of years now.  Her daughter, Allison and my son, Tanner graduated together and were in the same group of friends.  I had the pleasure of taking Allison's senior pictures last year.   Kristin purchased gift certificates for her family for Christmas last year, and they were all finally able to get together to have their portraits taken.  There are two different families here - Kristin's family and her husband's family also.  

 

SENIOR SESSIONS - Matt W

Matt goes to Marshfield High.  He loves the black and white "edgy" shots with the creative lighting.  It was a lot of fun doing his session as he challenged me to get the right lighting!  I love to be challenged!  I also love how these images turned out and will definitely be using these techniques again.

 

SENIOR SESSIONS- Mason

Mason was another one of my senior reps - from Loyal.  He is such a great kid to work with - so easy going.  For his session, we went out to his home.  They have a lot of great areas for backdrops - an old barn, a pond, a windmill. . .   It's hard to say which ones are my favorites - probably the indoor sports shots.

 

SENIOR SESSIONS - Ashley B

Ashley goes to Colby High School.  She was one of my senior reps this year, so it was great to work with her again.  It's been so hot here lately, so when the girls wear their prom dresses it can be a little uncomfortable for them.   I really love how her indoor shots turned out with her show choir dress.  She looks great in the color and dress style!

 

FAMILY SESSIONS - The L family

I've been taking these three cute girls' pictures now for several months.  Their mom, Nikki, always dresses them in the cutest outfits and the girls are just pros at posing!   Taiya turned 5 at the beginning of the summer (http://shutterbugphotographybyrhonda.blogspot.com/2012/06/taiya-is-5.html), and now the oldest girl, Tessah, turned 7.  I also managed to get some awesome shots of the family together in a field.  I absolutely love these field shots and the wonderful colors.  I look forward to working with this family again!

 

SENIOR SESSIONS - Austin

Austin, from Spencer High, brought his dog for his session.  Austin just chose the basic session because he did not want a lot of fuss and frills, so to speak.  So, we got some basic shots, but I think they turned out great.  I love the one of him with his dog!

 

THE S FAMILY

"Word of mouth" is so important in any business, but in photography, it rules.   Facebook has made it easy for the public to view my portfolio, but word of mouth by my clients to new potential clients brings my more business than anything else.  This is how Peggy and her family came to hire me.  I had done a family session with one of Peggy's friends, who recommended me to Peggy.  I am so thankful for all the business I've gotten via this method.  Peggy's husband, Jim, has some beautiful gardens and flower boxes all around their home.  They have a beautiful pond in the back of their property with a small cabin.  Their place is just gorgeous for a photo session!
