SENIOR SESSIONS - Tanner

I know I'm partial to this senior. . . my son, Tanner.  I would have to say, though, that it is much easier photographing other kids.   It seems like a struggle to get that really "great" shot - #1 - he is a boy and #2 - he does not like posing for his mom.  At any rate, I feel like we got some really good images from his many sessions, and it has been a lot of fun spending that time with him.  I can't believe that he'll be off to college next year.

The last one is my absolute favorite!

Senior Sessions - Kyle

This session was awesome!  Kyle had picked a great location at this bridge and we could have seriously gotten all his pictures in and around that bridge.  It was absolutely beautiful there!  We finished up at my in-law's barn, which is also a beautiful location for those rustic shots!   My son, Tyler, was finally home from his PA internship, and he so graciously volunteered to be my assistant and hold the reflector for me.  I have to say, he has talent for holding the reflector :-).

Senior Sessions - Courtney

Courtney is one of those people that just does not take a bad photo!  Seriously, almost every picture I took of her was good.  It was hard to weed them out so I could upload to my website.  It also helped that we had some really cute poses, using that wonderful trunk again; and also going to Cherokee Park and finding some beautiful waterfalls and rocks!   I will definitely be going to Cherokee Park again for future sessions!   Here are some great images of Courtney:

Senior Sessions- Aubrie

Aubrie is such a sweetheart.  We had a great session, even though we were being eaten alive by the mosquitoes.  Her mom was a great help in holding the reflectors and sun blockers.  Poor Aubrie had bites all over her - even though we had used bug spray!  Good thing we have Photo Shop Elements!!   These shots turned out wonderfully!

Happy Birthday

My third son, Levi, turned 5 a few days ago.  Wow-time really flies.  His sweet, loving disposition has stayed the same through the last 5 years, although he would rather not pose for mom to take pictures.  Here are some of the shots we got:

The last image is my favorite - something about the casual way he's smiling.

SENIOR SESSIONS - Adam

It was high humidity and temperatures the day these were shot.  We started early so we could avoid the worst of the heat.  It did not seem as bad as I thought it would be and we did end up getting some great shots!  Here are some of my favorites:

Class of 2012 - Tanner

I'm a bit partial to these photos, after all, they are of my son.  Baseball is his passion, so we started with his baseball poses.
