SENIOR SESSIONS - Kyleigh

This was my very first "official" senior session indoors!  I was kind of nervous, but I like how things turned out.  We were supposed to do 1/2 of Kyleigh's session outside at Cherokee Park, but of course, it was raining. . .  it's really getting a bit soggy around here. 

Kyleigh seemed to have a good time and she had some great ideas.  Here are a few of my favorite images from her session:

SENIOR SESSIONS - Alexa

This was one of those sessions that I was worried about having rained out - in fact, I had contacted Alexa earlier that day to see if we could move the session up a couple of hours in hopes of beating the rain.  Well, as soon as I got to her place, the sun came out as bright as ever, so we had to work around shadows and harsh light!  However, after we got into the swing of things, we got some REALLY great images!  It's so much fun to work with all these seniors!  They all have such fantastic ideas and such energy!  Alexa's session was a lot of fun because she has such a great eye for backdrops and lighting - she really made my job easy!  There were so many great images, but here are a few of my personal favorites!
 

FAMILY TIME

What a great visit with my parents the past few days.  I did not schedule any sessions the past week while I got ready for their visit and wanted to be free the entire time they were here.  I get to see them so rarely, and I wanted to enjoy every minute!  We had a fantastic visit!  We went to the Dells and took a boat ride,  my son, Tanner made his first archery kill, and we spent a lot of time just visiting and playing!  Here are a few shots from our visit:

 

SENIOR SESSIONS - Katy

I had such an awesome time during this photo session and also editing the images!!  Katy is just a sweetheart and was so much fun to work with.  Her sister and mom tagged along too, and we put them both to work.  Her sister, Maren, was awesome at holding the reflector!  The shot of Katie looking out over the water in her ballerina outfit is definitely going on the wall in my new studio!

 

SENIOR SESSIONS-Claire

The days are definitely getting shorter!  We had to really hurry during the last couple of sessions to be done before sunset!  Claire was such a good sport about doing some "different" stuff during her session.  She decided to actually sit in the water at Cherokee!   Right after she got into the water, some football players showed up and were walking around!  Claire took it all in stride, though, and I think the images turned out great!

 

SENIOR SESSIONS - NIKKI

Nikki is very special to me.  I've known her for as long as I've lived in Wisconsin, and she worships at the same congregation as me.  She is just a wonderful, loving, caring girl and I was so honored when she asked me to take her senior pictures.   She was so much fun and I'm so happy with how her images turned out!

Wow-it's been a busy couple of months with all these senior sessions!  I am loving every minute of it.  Such a great group of kids, I mean, young adults!  Here are a few of my favorite images of Emily.  What a sweet girl.
